Hope you're all having a wonderful day! I was invited to a party yesterday to my neigbour and friend who turned 40 years this week. It was very fun - and the wine was quite tasteful... lol
Today I'm posting the card I gave her - I wanted it to be both cute and rough, just like her ;)
The card is for the following challenges:
* CLP Challenge - Sketch
* Allsorts Challenge - Embossing
* Karen's Doodles Scandinavia - Stitching
The image is a digistamp from Karen's Doodles named "Cruisin' " I've colored it with my watercolorpencils and added some glitters. The designerpapers are structured papers from Notabene. The gold paper behind the image is embossed carton, cut with a spellbinder die. The pearls, flowers and leaves are from Kort og Godt. Doily and laces. The text is written on my Dymo. The flowers and the doily are embossed with gold embossing powder. All papers are distressed and sewed on my sewing machine.

Here's the flowers. As you can see, I've embossed them. You can see a little peek of the embossed doily too.
The inside. Papers from Notabene. A writing panel made with Spellbinders die, and embossed with gold embossing powder. I've made some decoration with a doily and a bow. More pearls. All papers are distressed and embossed.

What an awesome card I bet your friend just loved it! Such a cool effect with the gold embossing. I've never seen that done on flowers. Something new that I'll have to try. Thanks for the inspiration. Thank you for joining us that month at CLP Challenge.
