CLP DT-card: Friendship

Hello there!
I'm really sorry I haven't posted my DT card for the CLP Sketch Challenge for February until now...
Things are even more crazy than before, we seem to have gotten "The Big Flu" into the house. Both of the boys are having high fever, headache, musclepain and aching throats. I guess there's only a question of time until our daughter and the parents are sick too, those things spreads like fire into dry grass, as we say in Norwegian.
Okay, that's enough sad things for now, I want to share the card I've made with Chelsea's sketch for February.
This month we're sponsored by Pretty Little Stamps (formal known as Gurlee Girl Stamps), and I got this fantastic image to play with. Unfortunatly my wrists are still hurting, and I had to use an image that I had colored up earlier, so you don't get to see the beautiful image - yet! But I hope I'll soon be able to color up images again... ;)

Others: Stickles Crystal, ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbons, different flowers, brown and white ribbons from Europris, silver glitter pen, Martha Stewart Doily Lace edge punch, Petite Type Square pink letters from Authentique

Techniques: Image is colored with Distress reinkers, all edges are blackened with Distress Ink Walnut Stain, machine sewing

Cut It Out !

Yikes!
Time's really flying! Got home from work today and there were so much to do - instead I kind of collapsed on the couch... ;)
Have this quick post to do - I still eager to start creating again, but my wrists still won't let me color or sit too long with my crafting table... So, I've discovered the CAS cardmaking. And WOW, that is so much fun!!! I really admire the ones that makes fantastic CAS cards, I've got SO much to learn!!

Anyways, I've made this card for the latest challenge at the Less is More blog, and the theme was Cut It Out.
I think I've got like half an hour until submission closes... LOL

Etter ei hard uke med syke barn, gipsing av datter mi sin arm etter at hun ramla og knakk armen, to dager med migrene og arbeidshelg, ser jeg nå fram til å legge denne uka bak meg.

Trykkpressa bidrag #2

Hei igjen!
Nok et kjapt innlegg fra meg. Gårdagen var en småtrasig dag, måtte hente dattera vår på skolen der hun hadde vært og ramla. Det ble en kjapp tur innom fastlegen, før vi ble sendt videre til Tromsø på røntgen. Det viste seg at hun hadde et brudd i håndleddet, så da ble det gips som skal være på i 3 uker. Stakkar jenta vår, hun var kjempetapper!!!
Før alt dette skjedde, rakk jeg å få stempla noen kort. Siden håndledda mine ikke vil samarbeide om dagene, passa det kjempegodt at månedens utfordring hos Trykkpressa er å lage et One Layer Card. Jeg har på følelsen at jeg kommer til å få noen bidrag der denne gangen... Jeg har egentlig aldri forsøkt meg på slike kort før, så det er jo spennende :)

En kjapp mail her for å vise dere et kort som jeg lagde like før jul. Det var før jeg ble så suuuuperplaga med håndleddene mine, og måtte ta pause fra fargelegging... Sukk... Håper jeg snart blir bra igjen, selv å skrive på pc'n er vondt, så jeg blogger heller ikke for tida... :(

CLP Challenge - Midway reminder

Hi there!
So long since I've been blogging, and so long since I've been creating cards... There's so much going on in my life right now, and things are kind of not going my way... I'm struggling with pain in my wrists, and can not color up images at the moment. I have to keep my hands bandaged and try not to do things that makes them hurt even more. That's kind of hard when I'm at work, but since work is most important (someone says that we need money for living, I think that is silly! Ha ha!) , I have to priority that first...

Well, I've been making this card based on Chelsea's fantastic sketch for CLP Challenge #43. I should have it done by the 1st but didn't manage to finish it, so I posted it for the midway reminder ;)
This month we're sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs, and I got to play with the fantastic image named Steampunk Vivian. Since I'm not able to color up images at the moment, I had to print her out on Kraft carton, giving her red lips and add some glitters to her ;)

Kort og Godt utfordring - blått julekort

Her kommer et bidrag til Kort og Godt sin novemberutfordring som er å lage et blått julekort.
Som sagt, så er jeg på fullstendig sparebluss på hobbysiden, ettersom vi nettopp har kjøpt oss hus. Kjipt, når det er såååå mye man ønsker seg, men det betyr også at jeg nå er tvunget til å rydde opp i scrappestæsjet mitt og bruke gamle rester :)
Det blir mange CAS kort - både av økonomiske og tidsmessige årsaker ;)
Til dette kortet har jeg brukt restepapir som jeg dessverre ikke husker hvor kommer fra, hvit Liquid pearls, crystal Stickles, hvit kartong, sølvfarget stempelpute, glitterklistremerke og stempel fra Kort og Godt. Kantene er revet. Enkelt og elegant, synes jeg selv... He he ;)

Julekort #3

Legger like gjerne inn kort nummer 3 til Anma's Colour Challenge nå ikveld.
Dette kortet er inspirert av den røde fargen i bildet nederst til venstre, og av glitteret/blankheten i bildene.
Kortet er kun laget av rød og hvit kartong, stempel fra Kort og Godt, samt tre konfekthjerter fra Papirloftet som jeg har pusset litt på for å få de litt "slitte". Jeg har sydd litt på maskin, og laget striper med rød stickles. Enklere blir det ikke!! :)

Til dette kortet ble jeg inspirert av ornamentene, lilla- og grønnfargen, samt de grønne stripene i ornamentet i bildet nederst til høyre.
Til kortet har jeg brukt grønn og hvit kartong, stempler av Vibeke Spigseth for Panduro, fargelagt med glitterpenner og stickles. I tillegg har jeg brukt halvperler og 3D puter.

Julekort

Hei der!
Jo, her er det travelt om dagen - men innimellom har jeg fått laget noen enkle julekort. Det er nå 2 måneder siden vi overtok huset vårt, og i kombinasjon med at vi har noen kostbare måneder i vente, har jeg ikke investert i nytt scrappeutstyr. Jeg sitter på nettet og sikler over nydelige papirer, herlige stempler, fristende pynt og alt annet som jeg ønsker meg. Men istedet har jeg blitt nødt til å grave i mine "gamle" saker, og bruke opp restepapir fra restekassa mi. Det er litt av en utfordring, men det er også kjempegøy å tenke ut nye måter å lage kort på enn jeg er vant til. Her er et av korta jeg har laget, og dette leverer jeg til Andrine & Marens fargeutfordring Anma's Colour Challenge #3. Jeg syns illustrasjonsbildet var fantastisk flott, og jeg ble inspirert til å lage flere kort :) Men her er altså mitt første bidrag - laget av rester!!! ;)
På dette kortet ble jeg inspirert av de litt utradisjonelle og litt "amerikanske" julefargene i bildet - og selvfølgelig glitter og glam ;)
Foruten restepapir og limegrønn pluss grå kartong, har jeg brukt sølvklistremerker og 3D tape for litt distanse i kortet - superenkelt! :)

Sweet Pea Stamps Design Card Contest

Really? My second blogpost today? Yey! I've got one day off from work, and I've unpacked all my scrapstash so I just couldn't wait to start coloring images again!!! :)
This card, I've made for the Card Designing Superstar contest at the Sweet Pea Stamps blog. I've been using a stamp by Elaine Cox, named Miranda. I love this stamp, along with so many other of the Sweet Pea Stamps. I've already spent way to much money on their amazing stamps, but I just can't resist them! And they are so much fun coloring up :) Which actually tells me that I would LOOOVE to win a $50 gift voucher from their amazing store!! Ha ha! ;o)
For the ones that love the Elisabeth Bell arts: Sweet Pea Stamps have 9 EB design stamps in their store (I've got 3 but I want the 6 next too... lol )
This card also goes to this week's challenge at Flutter By Wednesday's, where they have an open challenge :)

Others: Adage ticket from Tim Holtz. White pearls are cut from a Say It in Pearls white swirl from Prima. Halfpearls from Kort og Godt. Wooden butterfly from Nille, paper butterfly from Karen Marie Klip. Laces and flowers unknown. Leaf gold.

Techniques: Image is colored with distress reinkers. The edges are scraped before inking with Distress Ink. Leaf gold are added with decoupage glue and a brush.

Yikes, it pisses me off that I don't know the name of the dp's! They are so lovely! I always take good care of the paper producent and name, but now I just can't find it!!! :( I would love it if someone could tell me, I'm pretty sure that they're from Basic Grey....?!
Well well, now I have some beds to fix, we're having visitors this weekend - a mother and her 5 kids :) So we're going to be 8 kids and three adults in the house all weekend (I'm NOT washing the house until Sunday! lol )

SPS Challenge - Scary/Halloween Inspired

Idag er det på tide med en ny utfordring på Sweet Pea Stampers bloggen, og denne uka er utfordringa å lage noe med tema Scary/Halloween inspirert.
Jeg har ikke noe spesielt forhold til Halloween, og eier ingen Halloween stempler. Men så er min datter invitert i Halloween bursdag hos en venninne i slutten av måneden, så da tenkte jeg at det kunne passe godt å lage et kort til henne med denne utfordringa :)
Fortsatt er ikke alt på plass i vårt nye hjem, og jeg har ikke helt oversikten over hva jeg har og ikke har i hobbyeskene mine. Men jeg fant et lilla ark fra Nille sammen med designpapirene mine, det ligner litt på edderkopper som er i arket, så jeg fant ut at det kunne passe :)
Kortet mitt passer også til månedens utfordring hos Trykkpressa, der man skulle lage noe med minst to av "Halloween fargene" lilla, oransje og sort.
Her kommer kortet jeg har laget: (Skissen er faktisk inspirert av skisseutfordringa i siste utgave av Ett Trykk som jeg ikke rakk å delta i pga flyttinga - men herlig skisse var det!!)

SPS DT - Fall colors

Hello there!

Things are a little crazy these days, we've just moved inside our new home. I haven't got internet connection yet, so right now I'm at my parents home to do this post.
I've made a new card for the challenge at SPS challenge, the theme for this week's challenge is FALL COLORS, my favorite time of year with all those fabulous colors. I made this card after we've started to pack before moving, and ended up with a CAS card :)

Interiør på agendaen - Herlig candy

Heisann!

Nå er det bare 4 dager til vi overtar nøkkelen til vårt nye hjem. ENDELIG har vi funnet et drømmehjem med riktig beliggenhet. Endelig skal vi begynne å betale til oss selv. Og ENDELIG kan jeg få pusse og flikke akkurat som jeg vil !! :)
Interiør er igrunn ikke noe jeg har hatt så kjempestor interesse for tidligere. Eller, jeg er av den sorten mennesker som samler på alt mulig - gamle minner, kunstverk fra barna, ting man får opp gjennom tiden. Og jeg tenker praktisk foran utseende. Men nå som vi endelig har kjøpt vårt eget hjem, er jeg begynt å lese i interiørblader til og med!! ;)
På God Morgen, Norge, fikk jeg se et innslag om en av finalistene til Norges Vakreste Hjem - og jeg falt for dette hjemmet TVERT! Så hjemmekoselig, så personlig og så stilig! Jeg er stor tilhenger av gjenbruk, og dette hjemmet var fylt med herlige, hjemmelagede løsninger. Jeg fant ut at Manuela aka Mrs Hardy hadde en egen herlig blogg! Du bør virkelig ta en titt innom!!
Og så fant jeg ut at hun i tillegg har en super giveaway pågående! Premien er et personlig fotomaleri. Det ville blitt perfekt i vårt nye hjem! De personlige bildene i Hardy-hjemmet var også en av de tingene jeg likte aller best - jeg falt for det store tapetbildet i stua deres tvert :)

Jeg anbefaler dere virkelig å ta en tur innom bloggen eller facebooksida til Mrs Hardy, masse inspirasjon og herlige bilder finner du der ;o)

Nå kommer jeg nok til å være i flyttemodus en stund framover, så det blir lite blogging og kortlaging på meg... ;)

We're in the middle of moving now, the house is almost boxed in from roof to floor... Ha ha!
We've also been celebrating our youngest son's 3rd birthday. He wanted to bring a car cake to kindergarden today, so I had to bake it in between all things late yesterday :)

DT - CLP September sketch

September is here!!
Which actually means that we're soon moving in to our new house :) And it means one more thing: A new sketch challenge on the CLP blog!!! Wow, I love Chelsea's sketches, I feel like the luckiest person in the world to be picked on her designteam :)
This month we're sponsored by Lili of the Valley. Aaawwwhhh, I looove their cute stamps!! And all of the CLP DT girlies was so lucky to get three of the new Christmas stamps to play with. Thank you so much for the generousity :)
I used the darling stamp named "On the way". Because of the moving, I haven't got to buy any new cardmaking stuff in a while. I really wanted to buy some matching Xmas papers and stash, but I had to use what I found in my stash that I already had. I didn't get quite pleased with the result, but WOOOW I loved to color up this image!!! :)

Sweet Pea Stampers DT - Sexy

I've been so busy lately, that I haven't got the chance to make this post earlier. Just wanted to show you a picture of my DT card for the Sweet Pea Stampers challenge. This week we're asking you to create a card with the theme Sexiness
I think there are so many sexy Sweet Pea stamps, and I just love the ching-chou kuik stamps. And my favorite stamp is her "One and Only Heart" image :)
Well, here's my card (Sorry I made such a quick post and only one picture, there is so much going on right now...)

Kort og Godt - Bryllup

Travle dager her hjemme, bare 3 uker igjen til vi overtar vårt nye hjem, og fram til den tid er det myyye som må gjøres. Men formen min er dårlig for tiden, så jeg får slett ikke gjort så mye :( Men men, det går deg til, håper jeg :)

Denne måneden er tema hos Kort og Godt bryllup, så da tenkte jeg at det kunne passe bra å dele mitt bryllupsprosjekt med dere, jeg kjøpte det aller meste hos Kort og Godt, det passet så fint til det prosjektet. Bryllupet ligger nå 2 måneder bak i tid, men jeg har enda ikke fått delt noen bilder med dere, ting har vært så travle i det siste. Men nå kommer de! :)

Jeg laget invitasjoner, bordkort og menykort til dette bryllupet, og jeg koset meg masse med det. Kjempegøy å få være med å lage et design som falt i god smak hos brudeparet samt blant gjester og inviterte :)

Yyyyyiiihhaaaa!!
In fact, I don't have time to make cards these days, there are SO much to do... We bought a new house last Saturday, and we're moving in September 15th. But I still struggle with lots of pain in my muscles and knuckles, the doctors don't seem to find out of it... I'm really tired of this now, and I've got so much to do, but I can't because of the pain... I think maybe the time has come to get a med.certificate from my doctor and get some weeks rest from work. I really don't want to do that, but at this point I have no better ideas of what to do....

Enough about pain!! Hey, there's a birthday celebration over at Cupcake Craft Challenges, and I just HAD to make a card with that funny sketch. I ended up with a CAS card, which is really untypical me, but I got SO inspired by all the gorgeous DT cards. Cazza had made a fab colorful card, and I kind of scraplifted her, I think ;) Thanks for great inspiration, girlies!!! :)
My card is made for my friend which turns 30 in a week. She's a tomboy kind of girl, and I thought she would like this kind of card :)

10 years wedding anniversary ;)

Hello there!
On the 4th of August (Barack Obamas 50th b'day!!), my husband and I had our 10th Wedding Anniversary. A fantastic flower waited for me when I got up in the morning :) And when I came home from work late Saturday evening, my hubby had made a fantastic dinner with candlelights and wine. Wow, he's so fantastic to me!!! And today we're taking our three kids to the movies to watch Cars 2. I'm looking forward to that too ;)
Well, in fact I had a card to share with you... It's my "present" to my hubby - a card with some nice words inside... Boring, maybe - but he liked it :)
I just have to tell you a short story about the laces on the card - I didn't find "the perfect lace". But suddenly I remembered that I'd just thrown away lots of old clothes, and I hadn't been to the dunghill yet. Well, I digged through it and found the perfect lace - on an old bra...!! LOL Well, I guess I couldn't have used that lace on any other cards than my hubby's... Ha ha!! ;)

Hi there!
It sure has been some sad days here in Norway, after the massacre in Oslo and on Utøya on July 22nd. It's been really hard for me to create anything, I've been having so much going on in my mind...
But July has been a good month too - my family went on a short vacation in the middle of the month. And we've been having lots of nice, shiny weather. And in fact, it seems like we're going to get our own beautiful house in the end of this year. Exciting!! :)
The fall season is just around the corner - and in fact, I'm looking forward to that. Dark evenings with candles, a cup of tea and off course: CARDMAKING!! :)

Hello there
The last week's happenings in Oslo and on Utøya, has made big scars to all of the people in little Norway. And I know that many of you bloggers all around the world, are affected by the terrible killing of young people with the best of their lifes in front of them.
I haven't been able to create anything since the tragic evening of July 22nd. I've got a few DT cards to finish up, but at this moment I'm not sure if I can manage to do that. I have to find some inspiration somewhere first....
But I've made one card - a card that's a little different from the other cards I'm making. I just had to use this beautiful sentiment stamp, I found those words so beautiful, and they gave a little solace to the sadness inside me. It says something like "Learn from yesterday, live for today, carry a hope for the day of tomorrow"

Noen tanker, mye kjærlighet

Ord blir fattige.
Ingen av oss som ikke har vært gjennom det som hendte i Oslo i helga, kan noen gang forstå hvor jævlig dette er. Norges unge, framadstormende og engasjerte ungdom er iløpet av en knapp time iløpet av en fredags ettermiddag, blitt redusert med nesten 100. Tilbake sitter familie, venner og partikollegaer med sorgen, savnet, spørsmålene, tårene, hatet... Hele Norge er i sorg, hele verden ser ut til å være i sjokk. Dette vil ta år å komme seg gjennom - i den grad man i det hele tatt kan komme seg gjennom noe som dette.
Idag er jeg fylt av avsky, av sorg, medfølelse og omtanke for alle som ble rammet av ett sinnsykt menneskes gjerninger. Et menneske som ikke fortjener den minste omtale. Men media klarer ikke holde kjeft, jeg orker ikke høre det navnet nevnt flere ganger! Jeg ønsker at fokuset skal ligge hos de nesten 100 menneskene som ikke lengre er blant oss. Jeg ønsker å holde fokus på de som sitter igjen og behøver oss; gjenlevende, familie, vitner, helsepersonell, kollegaer, venner.
Jeg ønsker at vi en gang i framtiden skal kunne føle oss trygg igjen.
Mine varmeste tanker går til alle dere som er berørt av den enorme tragedien i vårt lille, kjære land som vi er så inderlig glad i!

Magnolia Wedding Gift

Finally, I found some space to share the project I made for my niece Therese and her husband Mats who got married June 25th. It was the most romantic wedding I've ever been to, and I was SO proud to be Maid of Honor :) And my 8 year old daughter Martine was the ring bearer - she was amazing too!! :) If you want to see some pictures of the beautiful girlies, you can see them here I was so lucky to be asked if I could make the Wedding invitations, menu cards and the tablecards- It was so much fun having such a big job for the wedding. I was really honored :) I think I should be back with some pics of that project too, when I find some more free space ;)

Hi there!
How was your weekend? Mine was AMAZING !!! I got to see my niece getting married to the Man of her Dreams. It was SO romantic, there's no words to describe it!! I was the Maid of Honor, my daughter was the ring bearer, so we got very involved in things, and got to see the wedding from the beginning to the end ;)
We were celebrating on Fjellheisen, a cable car was delivering about 120 guests up to the restaurant, 421 metres over Tromsø town. This was the same place as her husband proposed to her, a year ago ;)
Since I got lots to focus on this day, I wasn't able to take pictures, I'm sure you do understand... Ha ha! But I want to share a couple of pictures I took in the car on the way to the church ;)

The bride - she looks really ready, or what??!! Ha ha ;) She was the most beautiful bride I've ever seen!

Well... I'm not quite sure what to do now... It feels a little odd not to have this wedding to work on anymore... Luckily I'm heading for work in an hour, although I still feel a little tired.. Ha ha!

I'm so glad it all went well, and I'm looking forward to watch all the pictures from the wedding :)

Idag har det vært fullt fres hele dagen - eldstemann er blitt 5 år, og det har vi feiret med kake i barnehagen, og med lasagne og kaker for venner og familie her hjemme. Har bakt tre kaker mens gutta var i barnehagen, vasket hus, laget salat og lasagne til 11 voksne og like mange barn. Nå er huset rydda og barna i seng. Ganske sliten nå ja... He he... Sannelig godt det ikke er slik hver dag... Thi hi ;)
Lagde ei dinosaurkake til barna i barnehagen - og den falt visst VELDIG i smak ;) En enkel kake å lage: brownies kake med litt smørkrem og diverse pynt.

Nå er det bare BRYLLUPSFORBEREDELSER som gjelder i dagene framover, kun noen få dager igjen nå, GJETT om jeg gleder meg!! Er utrolig spent - skulle nesten tro at det var JEG som skulle gifte meg, og ikke at jeg bare er forlover for niesa mi!! He he ;)

Woot woot!
We've been having some amazing summer days, enjoying as much as I can of the gorgeous weather.
Today we've been celebrating one of my nieces, she was confirmated today. She looked SO beautiful in her national costume, I should share some pics with you. But I haven't got time to edit the pictures yet, there's been so much going on today. And in fact, I fell asleep on the balcony when I came home this afternoon... Ha ha!
I just had to share some FANTASTIC news:
I'm on the DT for Sweet Pea Stampers !!!! Wooohoooo!! I'm SO happy - I looove the Sweet Pea Stamps, and I'm so looking forward to this DT assignment.

There are so many talented and sweet girls on the team, and I look forward to work with them and get to know them better.

I've been having major trouble with my Blogger account lately, and haven't been able to leave comments for the girls - or any of you others either, but I really hope it will all be fixed again soon...

I'm so excited to start creating more with my fav stamps!! ;)

Wuhuuu!
June is here! Which means that I'm running into a very busy month - my oldest son is turning 5 years, my niece and nephew is one year older each, another niece is getting confirmated and my oldest niece is getting married in the end of the month. And I'm so lucky to be her Maid of Honor!! ;) Yes, this is absolutely going to be a busy month!! ;)
But June is so much more than "me and mine" - it's the first summer month here in Norway. And today is the "kick off" for this fantastic and exiting month - my kick off is a new sketch challenge from CLP Challenge Blog!! :)
Hmmm... Have I told you how much I love Chelsea's sketches?? Ha ha, yes I think I have! But I can't say that too often. I loooove her sketches - and I lovelovelove her pieces of art ! She's so talented, so inspiring and SO including and generous. Yes, I'm a huge fan of her!! ;o) Thank you Chelsea for giving me this fantastic opportunity to join your design team, words can't tell how honored I am to work with you and your amazing girls!! ;)

I was a little sceptical to work with digi's since I've started to color with Distress Ink reinkers, but Kellie has made a tutorial on how you can combine watercoloring and digis. Since I don't have an embossing tool, I couldn't try this out. I've also heard that laser jet printers works great for digis. But since I don't have that EITHER, I had to try "the messy style". And it got a little messy - but in the end, it turned out quite good, I think... Ha ha!

OMGosh! My first Magnolia card !!

Hi peeps!
You won't believe it, would you? That I haven't got ANY Magnolia stamps before a couple of weeks ago?! Well, in fact, that's true! Too sad, in fact. I can tell at this moment, when I've got my first Tilda and colored her up. I loooooved her from the first brush stroke!! Thank you SO much Jacque!! It's her generousity that brought Tilda onto my crafting desk, since I won one of her amazing candies!! Thanks again, you're the best !!! *hugging*
I colored her up the same day I got her in my mail box - but I have been so busy with all those confirmation cards, that I haven't got the chance to finish the card. But now I have ! :)
I became a friendshipcard, I thought the image fits perfect to a friend :)

Gorgeous Tilda ! I know her outfit doesn't match the papers, but I thought it didn't matter, I only think that Tilda comes more "through" in the card - and she's so sweet that she deserves to be the focal point !!! ;)

You'll find joy in those small moments of everydays :) I thought the text was perfect for this image, since Tilda is having such a great time jumping in autumn leaves :)

Hello there!
I hope you've all had a fab Easter holiday. I got to spend a lot of time with my family - so cozy ;) But I've also got a little time to fullfill some paperprojects. I got a lot of confirmation card orders - it's almost May and "everyone" needs confirmation cards!! *smile* My favorite girl stamp at the moment, is the amazing Ching-Chou Kuik stamp named One and only heart. I love her! And one more thing I love is those papers I've been using. They are from the Tim Holtz Vintage Shabby stock. I ran over them on Bikuben - and I loooooved them right from the beginning! They fits for almost every kind of project and the dp's are in pink, blue and brown tones. Yummi yum!! *lol*

Scrapp med hjertet 2011

Better late than ever... I wanted to share some pics from the scrap event in Tromsø three weeks ago - Scrapp med Hjertet. I had two fantastic days, met many fantastic and creative ladies, and learned A LOT! My "biggest" happening was Maya's Distress Ink Reinkers coloring class. I fell in love from the very first brush stroke - and I've found all my old stamps, stamped them up and started to color them. I can hardly stop... *lol*
Today I've stayed home from work - my head and troat is hurting and I've been lying in my bed almost all day. My 8 years old daughter has been home too, so we've been sleeping together... *lol* Well, I think I'm better after tons of sleep, so I hope that I'll get back at work again tomorrow.

Pictures from the "makingtables" - some of the ladies were VERY productive (I was overwhelmed by all these amazing talents, and could hardly make anything... *lol*)

Some pics from the card we made on Maya's fantastic Distress Ink Reinkers coloring class - I love Maya's card, made with Hanglar stamp and papers from 3ndy papir. I hope I'll be just half as good as she is one day ;) In the meantime, I've got this gorgeous card I made by her own design!! Thank you Maya for your fabulous class, you really made me love coloring - I'm hooked!! *smile*

I also went to Camilla's Bookcard class. I've made some of these cards before, but wanted to see if I could get some new tips and inspiration - and I did !! Thank you Camilla!! ;o) Your card was beautiful - and here is how my card ended up... (Aaawwwhh, those papers from Maja Design are so beautiful... )

Well, that's pretty much what I had today. I had so much fun on Scrapp med Hjertet and I hope it will be a new event in Tromsø next year!! Thank you so much Camilla and Astrid for all your work - you're the best !!! ;)

Whiff of Joy with the CLP April sketch

Hello there!
So much going on these days - I've been creating a lot but haven't been able to publish my creations on my blog... But today I want to show you a confirmand card I've made with one of my new Whiff of Joy stamp. I find it perfect for confirmand cards, and I just had to buy it! *smile*
After I went to Maya's Distress Ink class on the Scrapp Med Hjertet event, I've been coloring LOTS of images - I just couldn't get my hands off my Reinkers! *lol*

CLP Challenge with Sweet Pea Stamps ;)

Hi there blogging friends!!
I had SO much fun on the scrap event Scrapp med hjertet this weekend! I wanna send a huge thank you note to Camilla and Astrid for making the weekend to a fun, interesting and perfect one!! ;) I'm so glad I got to meet so many lovely ladies with the same passion as myself - I feel a bit "lonely" with this scrappingthing, and I was so happy to have someone to ask about stuff. And to get inspired by! 'Cause WOW, there are so many creative and talented scrappers around!!
I'll share some pictures of what I've been learning and making the last weekend, but first I have to post a card for my fav sketch challenge CLP Challenge. I had made a card for the challenge before I went to Scrapp med hjertet, but I loved the sketch so much that I had to make a new one - this time with an image colored with my Distress Ink Reinkers. I learned so much on Maya's coloring class - and I totally love coloring with these inkers!! Thank you Maya for helping me out with the reinkers - and for making me fall in love! Ha ha! And I've also bought two stamps from Sweet Pea Stamps - I found them at Hjerteboden. They are Soooo beautiful that I can't stop coloring them up!! *lol* I've also heard that there will come stamps from the talented artist Melissa Dawn. She's making gorgeous butterfly, fairies and cats - three of my favorite things!! I'm really looking forward to see these new stamps!!
I made just another Confirmation card with the stamp, and since Confirmations are the most trustworthy spring sign I know, I think this card fits the Spring theme at In A Sweet Pea Dream Challenge

Her kommer mitt tredje bidrag til Vintageudfordring - inspirert av fargene og sommerfuglen i banneret. Skissen er laget av Joni Wilson for The Pink Elephant. Jeg deltar også hos Danni i Flutter By Wednesday's, der det er en åpen utfordring, og hos The ABC Challenge der tema er Q for Quilting/sewing. Lollipop Crafts ber om Butterflies/sommerfugler og Nord-Salten Hobbyklubb har tema Tenåring :)
Jeg har lenge syntes stemplene fra Sweet Pea Stamps er så dekorative. Så googla jeg for å finne ut om jeg ikke kunne få tak i noen her i Norge... Og SANNELIG! Jeg fikk tak i noen av de herlige Ching Chou Kuiks stemplene hos Hjerteboden !! Hurra!!
Jeg har forsøkt meg på min aller første fargelegging med Distress Ink refillere - jeg VET at resultatet er så som så... Men jeg satser på at jeg er bedre etter å ha deltatt på kurs med Maya under Scrapp Med Hjertet i Tromsø i helga!! Thihi!

Her kommer dagens andre post, og mitt andre bidrag til Vintageudfordring. Dersom du vil se mitt første bidrag, kan du se her. Jeg har latt meg inspirere av sommerfuglen, blomstene og "stemningen" i banneret. Her kommer noen få bilder av mitt "Clean and Simple" vintagekort, om det i det hele tatt kan finnes noe enkelt innenfor denne sjangeren... He he he.. ;) Jeg har brukt de herlige Once Upon a Springtime papirene fra Graphic45 (8x8), og jeg syns de er så fine at jeg slett ikke ville pynte de bort... Derfor endte det opp med lite pynt - men jeg tror kanskje dette kan bli et sånn kort som jeg tar frem igjen og fikser litt på dersom det blir liggende...?!? ;)

Ja nå er det sannelig en stund siden sist! Men her er jeg!! :)
Mye har skjedd siden sist - jeg er nå blitt 30 år (WOW!) Det ble feiret med en kjempestort og fantastisk flott overraskelsesselskap noen dager på etterskudd, da jeg kom hjem fra en hektisk og lang arbeidslørdag :) Mannen min, søstera mi, svigersøstera mi, min niese og hennes forlovede hadde stelt i stand til en fantastisk kveld sammen med venner og familie - GJETT om jeg fikk mitt livs sjokk da jeg kom hjem til et velduftende bursdagspyntet hus uten barn, Martini Asti og gaver i bøtter og spann. Tror jeg talte 19 venner til bords, der vi fikk servert nydelig biffgryte, kake som niesa mi hadde laga og masse god drikke såklart! I tillegg har jeg fått reisegavekort for husmorferie sammen med min kusine som hadde bursdag dagen før meg. Jeg må være verdens heldigste !! :)
I morgen og søndag skal jeg delta på mitt aller første Scrappetreff og -kurs. Det er Scrapp med Hjertet i Tromsø, og jeg gleder meg utrolig mye!! Nå skal jeg ENDELIG få møte "likesinnede", og få se hvordan man "egentlig" skal gjøre ting. Ser særlig fram til Distress Ink fargeleggingskurset med Maya. Har akkurat investert i Distress Ink refills, og nå gleder jeg meg til å lære meg å fargelegge med de!! Til nå har jeg bare fargelagt med akvarellblyanter. Og selv om jeg synes det er veldig gøy, så ser jeg fram til å lære meg noe nytt, og få masse gode tips :)
Jeg kommer til å dele et par kort med dere idag, der jeg har prøve ut mine Distress Inks for første gang. Jeg VET at resultatet er heller dårlig, men jeg bestemte meg likevel for å lage kort av dem :) Det kan jo bli gøy å se tilbake på det dersom jeg etterhvert får til denne fargelegginga... He he... ;)
Jeg har lenge slitt med å finne inspirasjon til å lage kort - har hatt en diger haug med halvferdige kort på hobbypulten. Men nå har jeg endelig noen kort å dele med dere igjen... ;)
På grunn av at jeg lider under noe tidspress og har mange prosjekter å dele, legger jeg ut flere bilder i hvert innlegg....

Aller først kommer bilder av et prosjekt jeg laget for mange uker siden, til en nabo som fylte 40. Det ble et bokeskekort som vi alle naboer fylte med penger og ga henne :)

Gosh! I don't know where my mojo left?!
I've got like ten half finished projects on my cardmaking desk, but I can't find the perfect embellishment or layout for any of them. I've only got a few finished projects, maybe I'll post some pics after work tonight...?!
I'm drewling around in this craftspace, looking at things I want to buy - but can't afford. Three days until payday - I'm sure going to visit the Lili of the Valley store to buy me some new stamps. They are offering 19 new stamps, release today! But I'm broke a few more days... Ha ha! I've told myself I can buy me a present - I'm turning 30 on the 15th! I deserve a present, huh?! *sss*
In only a few weeks I'm going to my first crafting event ever. It's named Scrapp med Hjertet and the incomes goes to Cancer research. I'm so looking forward to it - and I hope to learn coloring with Distress Ink refills - I'm taking a class with the super talented Maya. Wow! I'm looking forward to this! I really want to talk to other paperaddicted people, I feel so lonely! Ha ha!
And yeah! One more thing!

A vintage bookcard

Hello there!

I wanted to share my latest creation with you - it's a bookcard made for one of my colleauges. She turns 60 in a week, and I wanted to give her a little gift before she's heading for the Canaries to celebrate ;)
I wanted to make a card in soft "springy" colors and I found some papers from Prima that was perfect for what I had in mind.

The inside of the book. Tag from Ursus, decorated with stamps from PaperArtsy, so are the corner stamps in the "giftroom". Other stamps from Kreativ Hobby. All stamps are embossed with bronze embossing powder. Sticky paper ribbons on the box edges. Soft yellow sheer ribbons on the tag.

The tag is fastened with transparent photo corners :)

Wow, the weeks are flying! Where does it fly ? I don't know - I only notice that the calender is soon turned over to March and my 30th birthday is just a few weeks away :)
Well, I wanted to share a card with you. I wanted to make a card for this week's LotV challenge - but I love every color sooo much - I can hardly pick a favorite... That's why I thought it would be perfect to combine this challenge with this week's Rainbow color theme at Flutterby Wednesday's!! ;) But I added limegreen and turquoise, because I think maybe that might be one of my fav color combos...?! *lol*

A card for mum ;)

Hello peeps! :)

Sunday we were celebrating Mothers Day here in Norway. We were visiting my husband's family this weekend and had a great time. You probably won't believe that we got almost 50cm snow during the last days - seems like springtime is faaaaaar away... *lol*

Next month I'm going to me first Scrapevent and taking my first Scrap Class. I'm SO looking forward to it!

The event is named Scrapp med Hjertet, and is arranged in Tromsø. The earnings are given to Kreftforeningen, who's a society that works for patients and families who's been affected by Cancer in some way or an other.

This week the girls have made a challenge for us - make a card for mum! And I did! I gave it to her on Friday since we couldn't visit her on Mother's Day on Sunday. And she liked it! ;) I know I've just made a card with this stamp, but this is my definitly favorite stamp by the moment... :)

CLP Challenge #33

Hi friends!
Today I'm posting a card, made for my definity favorite sketch challenge - CLP Challenge. I just love the monthly sketches - they are so delicate that you can't resist to create with them! And the DT is so talented, all having different styles and inspiring me so much!
I gonna make this post a short one - I'm having three sick kids home today and I'm heading for work in an hour.
This card is made for my aunt who turns 67 in a couple of weeks.
Here's what I came up with based on the sketch - I've made a "no square" card and a kind of folding (don't know if it has a name... *lol*)

My finished card. All the embossed doodles on the tags are made with stamps from PaperArtsy. Along with the beautiful lace, I got them in a gift from Kianel when I won a challenge at Vintageudfordring. Thanks Kianel!!
