A Bookmark for my Daughter

Hi again!
This is my second post tonight, I'll make it quick because I need some sleep... *lol*
I've made a creation for this week's challenge at Pollycraft. Maria has challenged us: NO CARDS and/or glitter and lace. Besides papercrafting, reading is my hobby. My daughter gave me a beautiful bookmark that she had made - now I thought I should give her one, because she loves reading too ;)
This creation also goes to this months challenge over at Sir Stampalot Challenge, where the theme is Punch It
So, here it is:

This freebie Owl from Pollycraft is sooo cute! I've been coloring her with my watercolorpencils. The glittering owl papers are from Nille. Handwritten text. Paper lace border med with my new Martha Stewart punch, and I've added Glimmermist Sweet Pea from Tattered Angels onto the border. Halfpearls. Pearl stickles around the owlpapers, silver glitterpen around the letters and in the owl's eyes.

Cutie! ;) You can see the glittering border made with the glimmermist, and the glittering eyes

"Get wise, read books" It sounds better in Norwegian.... *lol*

Well, that's all for tonight!!!
Hugs,

Og det passet jo igrunn bra, siden A spoon full of sugar ønsket bokmerker :)

All this nice weather and many days at work, has prevented me from creating paperworks. But the kids at school where I'm working, are having a reading project, and many of them didn't have a bookmark, so that inspired me to start making some :) I want to show you one I've finished.
I think this bookmark goes to following challenges:

A spoon full of sugar - Bookmark this
Totally gorjuss - Hearts
Flutter By Wednesday - Butterfly, fairy or angel

I've used a really sweet free digi named "Between" from Mo's digital pencil too.  I've colored it with my watercolor pencils, and the pages in her book, I have added some glaze to get a glossy effect. The dotted paper is from Ursus, and I've sew it on my sewing machine onto the pink paper. In the bottom I have brown carton. The blue "cloud" is cut out from Spellbinders die. All edges has been added some Distress ink with a sponge. The sentiment I've written on my Dymo, using the same blue carton as on my "cloud", and added some golden color to the letters. The butterfly heart is a lovely button ;)

Look at this GORJUSS sweetie ;)

A closeup of the beautiful butterfly heart button  and my "homemade" Dymo letters - unfortunately the B and the K got a little greasy... But that's the charm of a home made product... *lol*

Well, I guess this nice weather and the upcoming Easter makes it even harder to find time to make paperproducts, but you never know... But just in case, I'll wish you all the best for Easter ! Warm hugs from me :)

Godværet og den kommende påsken, gjør det nok enda vanskeligere for meg å finne tid til papirhobbyen min, men vi får se... Men sånn for sikkerhets skyld: God påske til dere alle! Varme klemmer fra meg ;)
