So many are getting inspired of the fact that spring is around the corner (not here in North of Norway...) I'm ready for spring myself, and I've been looking forward to make cards in those beatiful spring - colors. I got so inspired of this tutorial I found over at Just Magnolia. With this card I want to join following challenges:
* Kort o Mania - Vår
* The Pink Elephant - Spring
* Allsorts Challenge - Spring is in the air
* Flutter By Wednesdays - Use the color green
Here comes my finished project:
The motive in the middle is a glossy picture, I just love it! The flowers in the background is from the same sheet. The beautiful paper with those big flowers I found at Clas Ohlsson, and I mounted it on green Bazill carton. I've just got my own Cuttlebug machine and my first Spellbinders dies - I love them already!! I used it to cut the window, and made a frame around it. I used two butterfly brads, some silver bling and the sentiment I've written with my glitter liner,- which I also used to dot around the frame :)
Look at this cute fairy! ;o)
A closeup of the butterfly brad. It was all white, but I've colored it with my silver liner and some pink glitterglue
A picture from aside of the card, the fairy is flying around making wishes come through ;)
The back of the card, I've been using the same papers, and made a flower cutting out some of the beautiful flowers from the paper. Two silver metallic-flowers and a rub-on in the middle. You can see a closeup picture of this wonderful rub-on later
My home made flower, made from the papers I've used and decorated with a cute flowerbutton in the middle and added some glitter liner
I fell in love with this wonderful silver colored rub-on from Basic Grey. So easy to transfer and so beautiful design. All "wrapped in" to papers cut from my new and loooovely Spellbinders die ;)
