Hello there!

I wanted to share my latest creation with you - it's a bookcard made for one of my colleauges. She turns 60 in a week, and I wanted to give her a little gift before she's heading for the Canaries to celebrate ;)

Pink roses also from Kreativ Hobby. Rosebuds, brad and halfpearls from Kort og Godt. Chrysanthemums from Storyteller. Doily - embossed with brown stonelook embossing powder from Kort og Godt

Flowers flowers...

.. and more flowers!! ;)

The stone look doily and some pearls ;)

The book from aside - as you can see I haven't used ribbons to close the book - I've used magnets :)

The back of the book - with embossed thickeners :)

The inside of the book. Tag from Ursus, decorated with stamps from PaperArtsy, so are the corner stamps in the "giftroom". Other stamps from Kreativ Hobby. All stamps are embossed with bronze embossing powder. Sticky paper ribbons on the box edges. Soft yellow sheer ribbons on the tag.

I hope you liked my bookcard - I had so much fun making it! :)
I wish you all a fab weekend, tonight I'm going to a local seafood party with my husmand, my sister and three brothers, my parents, some of my cousins and many of my nearest friends. I'm so looking forward to it - eating LOTS of delicatesses that the sea brings to us :) (I loooove seafood!!)

One more LOTV card :)

Hi

Wow, the weeks are flying! Where does it fly ? I don't know - I only notice that the calender is soon turned over to March and my 30th birthday is just a few weeks away :)
Well, I wanted to share a card with you. I wanted to make a card for this week's LotV challenge - but I love every color sooo much - I can hardly pick a favorite... That's why I thought it would be perfect to combine this challenge with this week's Rainbow color theme at Flutterby Wednesday's!! ;) But I added limegreen and turquoise, because I think maybe that might be one of my fav color combos...?! *lol*
My card is a birthday card made for the following challenges:

* Friday Sketchers - Sketch # 142
* Lili of the Valley Thursday Challenge - Your favorite colors
* Flutterby Wednesday's - Rainbow Flutterings
* A Spoon Full of Sugar - Birthday Wishes

The finished card

The Storyteller flower is glued on top of the bling flower - and I've added some limegreen flowers and some pearlpins too ;)

Look, isn't she the cutest?! She's got rainbow wings - and I've added Stickles to her skirt, wings and on the pearls - it's a little hard to see that on the pic...

A card for mum ;)

Hello peeps! :)
Sunday we were celebrating Mothers Day here in Norway. We were visiting my husband's family this weekend and had a great time. You probably won't believe that we got almost 50cm snow during the last days - seems like springtime is faaaaaar away... *lol*
Next month I'm going to me first Scrapevent and taking my first Scrap Class. I'm SO looking forward to it!
The event is named Scrapp med Hjertet, and is arranged in Tromsø. The earnings are given to Kreftforeningen, who's a society that works for patients and families who's been affected by Cancer in some way or an other.
This week the girls have made a challenge for us - make a card for mum! And I did! I gave it to her on Friday since we couldn't visit her on Mother's Day on Sunday. And she liked it! ;) I know I've just made a card with this stamp, but this is my definitly favorite stamp by the moment... :)
The card is made for the following challenges:

* Scrapp med hjertet - Mother's day card
* Lili of the Valley Thursday Challenge - Sketch
* RRR Challenge - Red, pink and white (But unfortunaltely I was too late to post my card...)
* Flutter By Wednesday's - At least 3 hearts plus butterfly, fairy or angel
* Lollipop Crafts - Use your favorite coloring medium (mine is watercolorpencils!)
* Paperplay Challenges - Hearts and flowers but not Valentine

CLP Challenge #33

Hi friends!
Today I'm posting a card, made for my definity favorite sketch challenge - CLP Challenge. I just love the monthly sketches - they are so delicate that you can't resist to create with them! And the DT is so talented, all having different styles and inspiring me so much!
I gonna make this post a short one - I'm having three sick kids home today and I'm heading for work in an hour.
This card is made for my aunt who turns 67 in a couple of weeks.
Here's what I came up with based on the sketch - I've made a "no square" card and a kind of folding (don't know if it has a name... *lol*)

My finished card. All the embossed doodles on the tags are made with stamps from PaperArtsy. Along with the beautiful lace, I got them in a gift from Kianel when I won a challenge at Vintageudfordring. Thanks Kianel!!

Happy Birthday

An old broken necklace can be used as an embellishment ;)

The roses from Papirloftet

Look at this beautiful angel, she looks so calm and gently... ;)

"Age is only a number - youthfulness comes from inside" ;) Bad quality, sorry about that!

The inside - decorated with one of the doilies my mum bought for me in Germany ;)

Supplies:
Size: 12cm x 15cm
Papers: Summer's Day from CollagePress
Ink: Distress Ink Vintage Photo from Ranger
Others: Mulberryflowers from Papirloftet. Angelimage from a cuttingpaper. Big doily from TreL. Doodlestamps from PaperArtsy. Copper Embossing powder. Laces from Kianel *thanks*. Small doily on the inside bought by my mum in Kiel ;) Old buttons (right lower corner and inside) from my stash. Gem from an old broken necklace. Tags.

LOTV card for a friend

Hello there!
I got my new Lily of the Valley stamps two days ago. I just couldn't wait to start color them up - they are FANTASTIC!! I couldn't afford more than 5 because I have to pay my Education loan this month, but I wanted to order them all! (You know, I REALLY struggled to find out which one to choose...) Guess I have to make a new order soon... *lol* I ordered a couple of stamps from the latest release, and some of the "good old ones" :) Here are some pics of the first finished card, which goes to the following challenges:

* Friday Sketchers Blog - Sketch #139 (I turned one of the squares a little, I hope it's okay...)
* Anonyme Scrappere - Bright pink and white
* Basic Grey Challenges - Flower Power
* Nord-Salten Hobbyklubb - Valentine's card with a heart (in the dp's)

My finished card - you can see that the flowers in the dp's are filled up with hearts, I think it's a fantastic detail in these gorgeous papers :) But hey, wait! NO MACHINESEWING?!?! *lol*

Isn't she the most adorable girlie you've ever seen?! This is definitly my fav LOTV stamp :)

The brad - and the ribbons my mum bought me in Germany ;)

"For you, my friend"

My homemade flower. Since I didn't have a bright pink flower, I had to make one on my own. I sprayed some paperflowers with Glimmer Mist and folded them together, let them dry and added some glitters :)

The inside - I think the dp's are so beautiful that I didn't have to decorate the inside - I've only added some glitterglue on the edges of the writing panel

Supplies
Size: 6" x 6"
Papers: Basic Grey Bittersweet - Ganache and Rocky Road
Stamps: Lily of the Valley - Rosie Posy
Coloring: Watercolorpencils
Others: Brad, roseleafes and halfpearls from Kort og Godt. Distress Ink Vintage Photo. Glitter glue.  Paperflowers. Glimmer Mist Sweet Pea from Tattered Angels.
Techniques: All papers are distressed and inked with Distress Ink

I hope you liked my card, and I would love to get some comments on it if you're here :)
Today is my day off from work, I was asked to work extra at school, but I had to say no because my three kids are all sick. But it's OK to have one day off, since I'm working this weekend too. It can sometimes be hard to combine being a mother to three small kids and working fullpart too...
Well, thanks for visiting. Wishing you a great day!
