I wanted to share my latest creation with you - it's a bookcard made for one of my colleauges. She turns 60 in a week, and I wanted to give her a little gift before she's heading for the Canaries to celebrate ;)
I wanted to make a card in soft "springy" colors and I found some papers from Prima that was perfect for what I had in mind.
I'm entering the following challenges with my bookcard:
* Vintageudfordring - Bookcard made by Sannes tutorial
* Flutter By Wednesday's - Open challenge
* Nord-Salten Hobbyklubb - Vintage with a hint of pink
* RRR Challenge - Spring Theme
The finished box. Image from a cuttingpaper. Butterflies from Karen Marie Klip - embossed with bronze embossing powder. Papers from Prima named Poetry, carton from Ursus - edges are scraped and inked with Distress Ink Vintage Photo. Stamps from Kreativ Hobby, embossed with bronze embossingpowder. Pink roses also from Kreativ Hobby. Rosebuds, brad and halfpearls from Kort og Godt. Chrysanthemums from Storyteller. Doily - embossed with brown stonelook embossing powder from Kort og Godt
The sweet girlie and the embossed butterflies
Flowers flowers...
.. and more flowers!! ;)
The stone look doily and some pearls ;)
The book from aside - as you can see I haven't used ribbons to close the book - I've used magnets :)
The back of the book - with embossed thickeners :)
The inside of the book. Tag from Ursus, decorated with stamps from PaperArtsy, so are the corner stamps in the "giftroom". Other stamps from Kreativ Hobby. All stamps are embossed with bronze embossing powder. Sticky paper ribbons on the box edges. Soft yellow sheer ribbons on the tag.
The tag is fastened with transparent photo corners :)
The inside of the box - I think these ribbons are so sweet :)
Ready to be given away to a chocolate lover ;)
I hope you liked my bookcard - I had so much fun making it! :)
I wish you all a fab weekend, tonight I'm going to a local seafood party with my husmand, my sister and three brothers, my parents, some of my cousins and many of my nearest friends. I'm so looking forward to it - eating LOTS of delicatesses that the sea brings to us :) (I loooove seafood!!)
