Vintage julekort

I love all kind of beautiful cards, all in different styles. I always have to try out fun folding tecniques, styles and stash that inspires me. I can't decide what I love the most - except from creating!! ;)
For Christmas cards, I love the Vintage style because I'm a big fan of traditions and I think "old stuff" works great for Christmas. So... I've tried to make a Vintage Christmas card based on this week's sketch from Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge. I had to turn the elements a bit to make it look "right" ;) I'm also entering the challenge at Nordsalten Hobbyklubb and Vintageudfordring, where I should make my own background. I made mine with brown carton, bubbleplastic, embossing ink and golden embossing powder. Here's the result:

Supplies
Carton: Ursus
Stamps: Papirloftet "Juleevangeliet"
Ink: Distress Ink Vintage Photo fra Ranger
Others: Flowers from Papirloftet, image from a cutout paper, handwritten text, doily, string. Gold embossing powder.
Techniques: All edges are inked and distressed. The Christmas Gospel is inked on an aquarel paper and teared and inked on the edges to look old. Machinesewing. Embossing.

Tusen takk for at du besøkte bloggen min!

He he...

Til kortet har jeg brukt:
Kartong: Ursus

Heisann!

Hi there!
I've been quite busy lately, and haven't got the chance to update my blog. But today I want to share some new creations with you.
Outside we've got a lovely white carpet, about 15-20 cm snow has come the last days. That's perfect for both children and parents! ;)
My first post is a picture I've made. I got so inspired by Helle and had to try this myself. The size of the picture is 20x20cm, and I found this fantastic motive on a papernapkin on an interiour boutique, it's from Sagen Vintage Design, and it was love at first sight *lol* Vintage is not my best side, but I have to admit that I think this picture came out quite beautiful... ;)

A xmas card

Hello out there!! ;)
Yes - I think it's time to make some Christmas cards! But I think it's too early to buy Christmas chocolates in the store!! It's a time for everything, right?!? But I don't want to start the Christmas NOW! I just have to be a little prepared...
Today it's actually snowing here in North of Norway - it seems like the winter is here! I know the kids love it ;)
Well, back to my card!
I'm no good at Vintage cards. But I *love* them for Christmas (and all year long too...) and I just had to try making a vintage Christmas card. I'm not quite pleased with the result, but it's about my 3rd vintage project, and when I think about it, I have to say that I like it... *lol* ;)
The card is for the following challenges:

* CLP Challenge Blog - Sketch # 30
* Vintageudfordring - Use Gesso or paint on your project (I've been using acrylic color - stamping it with bubbleplastic)

Christmas wishes

The inside

"It isn't presents or food that's the best. It isn't the mulled wine that's warming the most. But the things that we cannot touch - the thought of the ones we love. Merry Christmas to you and yours" (Sorry about my translation... *lol*

A closeup picture of the beautiful image

An autumn tag ;)

Hi there!
Finally I've had a day off from work, and I have been able to finish some of my projects and make some new ones too :) And I've made some housework too... WOW! *lol*
I've made a tag with the theme of fall.
This project is made for the challenge over at Really Reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings where the challenge is to make something with a fall theme.
I got so inspired to make this tag when I saw all the beautiful fall tags over at Scrapbook News and Review Magazine.

Supplies:
Papers: Ursus
Ink: Distress Ink Spiced Marmalade and Vintage Photo from Ranger
Others: Handwritten text which says "Warm and bright thoughts for cold and dark autumn evenings" Bling, ribbons and leafes. The edges are distressed and blackened.

I'm sorry the picture quality is bad, I'll try to get back with a better picture later, I do have some trouble with getting enough space for my pics on the computer, I guess I have to do something about it soon... *lol*
At last I want to wish you all a fantastic week - I'm enjoying the season of fall among job, familylife and all other commitments... ;) This is my favorite season!!! ;)

Lots of love,
