Sweet Pea Stampers DT - Sexy

Hi there!
I've been so busy lately, that I haven't got the chance to make this post earlier. Just wanted to show you a picture of my DT card for the Sweet Pea Stampers challenge. This week we're asking you to create a card with the theme Sexiness
I think there are so many sexy Sweet Pea stamps, and I just love the ching-chou kuik stamps. And my favorite stamp is her "One and Only Heart" image :)
Well, here's my card (Sorry I made such a quick post and only one picture, there is so much going on right now...)

Supplies:
Size: 6" x 4"
Papers: Bazill White (carton), Tim Holtz Vintage shabby (dp's)
Stamps: ching-chou kuik for Sweet Pea Stamps One and Only Heart, Kreativ hobby (I love you sentiment) Heart stamp from Europris
Ink: Archival Ink Coffee
Others: Edges are distressed and inked. Half pearls from Basic Grey, glitterglue, pink tulle, flower center by Prima, Glossy Accents by Ranger added on the heart and the lips, Liquid pearls on the dress. Image is colored with Distress reinkers.

I hope to see your card on our challenge ;)
And yeah, I've got my new Sweet Pea Stamps! Three gorgeous stamps by Elisabeth Bell and four stamps by Katerina Koukiotis, they are all painted up (couldn't wait!!) but it seems like I'll have to wait to finish up my cards, less than 3 weeks until we get our new house!! Wuhuuu!! ;)
Have a wonderful weekend!

Kort og Godt - Bryllup

Heisann!

Brudeparets personlige monogram - stempelet fikk jeg laget hos Papirgleder.no

Rekvisittliste:
Størrelse: 10x15cm (invitasjoner), 6,5x9,5cm (bordkort, brettet) ca25x10cm (menykort)
Kartong: Bazill White
Stempel: Personlig stempel fra Papirgleder.no

Klem,

Faberoony Sketcharony birthday celebration ;)

Yyyyyiiihhaaaa!!
In fact, I don't have time to make cards these days, there are SO much to do... We bought a new house last Saturday, and we're moving in September 15th. But I still struggle with lots of pain in my muscles and knuckles, the doctors don't seem to find out of it... I'm really tired of this now, and I've got so much to do, but I can't because of the pain... I think maybe the time has come to get a med.certificate from my doctor and get some weeks rest from work. I really don't want to do that, but at this point I have no better ideas of what to do....

Enough about pain!! Hey, there's a birthday celebration over at Cupcake Craft Challenges, and I just HAD to make a card with that funny sketch. I ended up with a CAS card, which is really untypical me, but I got SO inspired by all the gorgeous DT cards. Cazza had made a fab colorful card, and I kind of scraplifted her, I think ;) Thanks for great inspiration, girlies!!! :)
My card is made for my friend which turns 30 in a week. She's a tomboy kind of girl, and I thought she would like this kind of card :)
Here is a picture (only ONE this time... hmmm... What is happening to me?!?! LOL)

Supplies:
Size: 6" x 6"
Papers: Carton from Ursus and Bazzill, dp's from My Mind's Eye Lime & Twist 6x6 pad
Others: Handwritten swirl and edges. Heartshaped buttons, rub-on from Norsk Stempelblad. The monster is from Panduro. Numbers from Prima. Stickles Starry Night

Look at the fab prizes you can win if you enter the sketch challenge and find the hidden treasures!! ;)

Well... got to see if I get some things done... Thank you for visiting my blog. And yes... there will be candy, there's just SO much going on right now... But I want to celebrate with you creative girlies out there ;)
See ya!

10 years wedding anniversary ;)

Hello there!
On the 4th of August (Barack Obamas 50th b'day!!), my husband and I had our 10th Wedding Anniversary. A fantastic flower waited for me when I got up in the morning :) And when I came home from work late Saturday evening, my hubby had made a fantastic dinner with candlelights and wine. Wow, he's so fantastic to me!!! And today we're taking our three kids to the movies to watch Cars 2. I'm looking forward to that too ;)
Well, in fact I had a card to share with you... It's my "present" to my hubby - a card with some nice words inside... Boring, maybe - but he liked it :)
I just have to tell you a short story about the laces on the card - I didn't find "the perfect lace". But suddenly I remembered that I'd just thrown away lots of old clothes, and I hadn't been to the dunghill yet. Well, I digged through it and found the perfect lace - on an old bra...!! LOL Well, I guess I couldn't have used that lace on any other cards than my hubby's... Ha ha!! ;)
The card goes to the following challenges:

* Lili of the Valley Challenge - Roses
* ABC Challenge - Auburn hair

The finished card

My homemade hearts - shaped by scissors, painted with acrylic paint and sprayed with glimmermist

CLP #39 - Sponsored by Whimsy Stamps!!

Hi there!
It sure has been some sad days here in Norway, after the massacre in Oslo and on Utøya on July 22nd. It's been really hard for me to create anything, I've been having so much going on in my mind...
But July has been a good month too - my family went on a short vacation in the middle of the month. And we've been having lots of nice, shiny weather. And in fact, it seems like we're going to get our own beautiful house in the end of this year. Exciting!! :)
The fall season is just around the corner - and in fact, I'm looking forward to that. Dark evenings with candles, a cup of tea and off course: CARDMAKING!! :)
Today we're starting the month of August with a new gorgeous sketch by Chelsea on the CLP Challenge blog.
This month we're sponsored by Whimsy Stamps!! Wuhuu!! They are having SO many gorgeous stamps, and the DT girlies was so lucky to get our own stamps to work with. I had already started to create my card with a gorgeous Kenny K image I had, but I'll sure create a card later with the images we got. Thanks a bunch for your generousity, Crystal !!!

Well... Here are some pics of my card:

The finished card - I gonna give it to my daughter who turns 9 years in two weeks. She's both cool and dressy, and I found this Kenny K image perfect for her ;)

Closeup pic of the image. I've added some glossy accents to her lips and some glitters to her jeweleries, but unfortunately that doesn't show up any good on the pic...

For a cool girl ;)

The rose has got some glitterglue on ;)

One of the butterflies

Supplies
Size: 6" x 6"
Papers: Unknown
Stamps: Kenny K digi stamp
Others: The image is colored by watercolorpencils and Distress Ink reinkers. Paperclip and rose from my stash. Stapled needles on the image. MS butterfly punch. Tim Holtz film strip ribbon. Glitterglue. Bling. Tiny Alphabet stickers from Making Memories. Glossy accents. All edges are distressed and sponged with Distress Ink Walnut Stain.

And yeah... I know there's time for a candy on my blog,- I should be celebrating my 10.000 hits and almost 100 followers. I guess I will share a little giveaway in the following weeks, maybe... ;)
I hope to see you playing along with us on the CLP Challenge Blog for August ;) Remember that you can win a gorgeous gift from Whimsy Stamps!!! ;)
Until next time: TAKE CARE!!
