Today is the day for a new challenge over at Sweet Pea Stampers blog! We want you to create something with a Sweet Pea Stamp, and the theme for the challenge is Blue Crush.
BTW, have you seen that the one and only Elisabeth Bell has created three adorable stamps for Sweet Pea Stamps?? I've already pre-ordered them, I'm so looking forward to get those cuties into my crafting room!! You can find those gorgeous stamps here, along with LOTS of other beautiful stamps from really talented artists. Oooohhh, I looove the Sweet Pea Stamps!!! ;o)
My card goes to the following challenges:
* PaperPlay Challenge - Homemade dp's
* Sir Stampalot Challenge - Whatever you fancy
* Cupcake Craft Challenge - Sew Mad
* Addicted to Stamps Challenge - Anything Goes
* By the Cute and Girly Challenge - By the Sea
Well, it's time to show you what I've made for the Blue Crush challenge:
The finished card with my homemade dp's ;)
Just trying to show you the glossy lips... ;)
Silver necklace and glossy shell ;)
Remember to Dream...
A closeup of my homemade papers, some laces, glassdrops and a little bit of silver leaf papers ;)
Papers: Carton from Ursus(blue) and Bazill(white). Homemade papers.
Stamps: Alassa by Elaine Cox for Sweet Pea Stamps
Ink: Distress Ink Walnut Stain
Others: The papers are made with marmor colors (I don't know the English word) in water. I dipped a bit of Bazill carton (no structure in it) and dried the paper. The image is colored with Distress Ink reinkers.
Adage Ticket by Tim Holtz. Doily bought on TreL. Flower from Storyteller (?) Laces from Panduro Hobby. Pearl drops bought on Nille. Silver pen. Glossy Accents from Ranger. Silver leaf papers, glued onto different parts of the card with decoupage glue. Stapled tacks. Machinesewed edges.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog! I hop to see you in the Blue Crush challenge at Sweet Pea Stampers blog. Remember; you've got two weeks to create on!!! ;)
Lots of love,
