Martine lager bursdagskort

Hi there!
Here's some pics of the latest card for my daughter Martine. She has made a birthdaycard for my niece -she's Martine's "aunty" because my niece and I are very close, almost like sisters ;)
We've made one card each for her, using the same papers. If you want to, you can see my card here.
Martine is 7 years old, but turns 8 on August 16th, and she's really looking forward to her birthday. And she loves to craft together with me :)
Martine is entering the following challenges with her card:

* Kona Kid Krafter's - Animals
* Childrens Challenge Corner - Ribbons and bows
* Sir Stampalot Challenge - Bring on the Bling
* Pollycraft Challenge - Fit for a Princess
* Lollipop Crafts - Anything goes
* By the Cute and Girly - Animal Antics

Papers and carton from Ursus. The dog is cut from a paper bought at Panduro. Princess tiara ribbon from Notabene. Bling.

Look at this cutie!!

"I hope your day will be just as beautiful as you! ;)
The sentiment stamp is from Kreativ Hobby, and we've embossed it in shimmering powder

This flower is from Martine's princess shoe, and when it fell off she wanted to use it on her card. (She's just like her mother, always thinking "can this be used for papercrafting?! LOL)

Thanks for visiting, please leave a comment for Martine ;)
Hugs, Martine and her mother,

Vebjørns kort

Today my oldest son Vebjørn turns 4 years. We've been celebrating all weekend - and today he didn't want to go to kindergarden, because he wanted to stay home playing with his new toys. And he has also been crafting together with his sister and me :)
He's entering the following challenges with his card:

* Little Hands Do Craft - Bling It Up!
* Kona Kid Krafter's - Red, white and Blue
* Childrens Challenge Corner - Flowers
* Karen's Doodles Kids Challenge - A Special Card for Dad

Here's what he has been making - a card for his dad! ;)

Blue and white striped carton, flower patterned papers. The image is Easter Puppy from Karen's Doodles. Decorations: buttons, bling and glitterglue ;)

The cute Easter Puppy - Vebjørn's favorite image! ;) Look at those two cute gold glitterglue dots he has added to the puppy's ears! I told him not to use too much... *lol*

He's so proud of this "button tower" he made ! ;)

Look at the proud birthdayboy! He made this cake together with me for the childs party on Sunday. He wanted a Monstertruck cake - and off course he had to get one! This is the most easy cake I've decorated EVER!! Men likes it easy! He he he!

Here's one more picture of the cake. Such a messy cake, huh!? *lol*

Well, that's about it... ;)
Have a wonderful week!
Lots of love

Bigsby :)

She has written "Maja 9 years, Hurray for you" As you understand, it's a birthdaycard for her friend who's celebrating her birthday today

One of the butterflies and some of the flowers. As you can see, Martine has drawn some fluttering traces with glitterglue :)

Here's card number two, this is the card Martine made for her little brother Vebjørn who turns 4 years today:

She has created this gorgeous card for her Spiderman fan brother - the image is SO perfect for him! (He placed it on the bookshelf in his bedroom right after he got it! *lol*) It's a freebie from Whiff of Joy, named Spider Henry. Red and white polkadotted carton for the base and some blue carton for the background. Buttons in red, white and blue (off course!) as decoration ;)

A card for dad ;)

Hi there!
I'm posting some pictures of my 7 years old daughter Martine's newest card. She had this wonderful idea of how she wanted to make a card for the following challenges:

* Kona Kid Krafter's - Father's Day
* Childrens Challenge Corner - Father's Day
* Karen's Doodles Kids Challenge - Sketch

I got impressed of her creativity - and it's so much fun that she gives me lots of inspiration with her papercrafting too!! :)
In Norway we are celebrating Father's Day in November, but there's always time to give a card to the best dad in the world!! *lol*
---------
Heisann!
Her kommer noen bilder av min 7år gamle datter Martine sitt nyeste kort.

On the front, she used "Home Tweet Home" from Karen's Doodles. She has used green buttons and a pinwheel button and stickers for the "Dad" text. The papers Martine got from the supercute Julie at Children's Challenge Corner when she won a challenge. They are from a "Noah's arch" paper pack from Jo-Ann Fabrics and Crafts - wonderful glittered papers! (I asked if I could use some on my creations but she told me to win my own! *lol*) The green squared papers is a rooftop and outside it's raining. And the birds are dry under the tree - singing for their babies! Isn't that a cute idea?! But wait for the inside!!

On the rooftop, singing in the rain ;)

Here's the fantastic inside! I had to help her a little to mount the image, but Martine knew exactly how I should do it so it should fit into her imaginated card! *lol* The paper are from "Noah's Arch" too, but the carpet is an old glittered paper. The image is "It's Your Day" from Karen's Doodles. And she has made a mirror with spellbinders die and a silver paper, and a picture with spellbinders die for the frame, and a small piece of Dinosaur papers. On the top of the card she has written: "To dad. You are the best. Love from Martine". I have to tell you he got SO happy for this card - and it has got a good place in our bookshelf in the livingroom! ;)

Here's a closeup picture of the inside. And look, he's watching a soccer game at the TV!!! *lol* (And you can see my hands and my camera in the mirror... thi hi...)

I hope you enjoyed Martine's card - I really love it! And I love watching her when she's making her creations, she really loves it!
Wishing you all a wonderful week!
Hugs, Randi and Martine

Jaja... bedre lykke neste gang!! ;)

Teacher's appreciation Week

************************
Here's my daughter Martine's second kraftingproject post for today. She made it for the Karen's Doodles Kids Challenge where she should made something for her teacher, since it's Teacher's Appreciation Week in the US. She has decorated a small notebook for her teacher, and she's giving it to her today :)

Before decorating - boooooring!! LOL

After decorating. She has used the image "Ballerina doggie", some decopapers from Notabene, flowers and a heart she has colored and cut out. The text is handwritten and says "Notebook" :)

The other side. She has used the KD image "Crusin'". Decopapers from Notabene, flowers and a "cloud" cut with my Spellbinders die.

Hope you enjoyed Martines project :) I think her teacher will! She's a animal lover and a biker so I guess she'll adore the images! :)
Hugs, Martine and Randi ;)

Og Martine fikk fullført to prosjekter :)
***************
Hi there!
Today I've got two posts for my 7 years old daughter Martine who has created for different kids challenges. The first post is a Birthday card made for her cousin who turns 6 years. The card goes to Scrappekammerets challenge where we should get inspired by the quote "The apple doesn't fall far from the stem" (or something like that... lol) She has seen a old project I've made - I hated it and she loved it - and she wanted to make something like that. A rotary card with brads. She knew exactly how she wanted to make it! *lol*
The card is already in the mail box on its way to her cousin in Harstad :) It goes to the challenge at Childrens Challenge Corner which was "Make a Thinking of you card and send it to someone"

My kids' Papercrafts

Heisann!!

My first post today is some pictures of what my two oldest kids have been making today. Every Wednesday we all have a day off from school, kindergarden and work, so we usually make cards or du other "big kids stuff" when the little brother is taking his nap ;)
We have created one card each today, and at first I want to show my kids cards. I'll show you their pictures in the same post.

At first I have a picture of Martine's card. She has made it for the following challenges:
Karen's Doodles Kids Challenge - Challenge #4 Use the colors pink & brown/blue & brown/pink, blue & brown
Childrens Challenge Corner - Challenge #3 Mother's Day

Martine has used Karen's Doodles digi stamp named Rosie the Queen. She has made a pink cardstock for her card, and heart patterned designpapers. Lots of gems and Brown swirl paperborder. She has written "For grandma. You're the best". Her grandma is having a operation on Friday, and Martine wanted to make a card for her. And in fact, her grandma even has birthday on Sunday too... Since we've already been celebrating Mother's Day here in Norway, she didn't make a Mum's card, but a Grandma's card.

The second picture is of Vebjørn's card. He's entering the Karens Doodles Kids Challenge with this card.

Vebjørn has used the Karen's Doodles image named Eater Puppy. He has used blue cardstock, brown polkadotted designerpapers and the same paper swirlborder as Martine. And gems in pink, blue and green.

And that's what my kids have made for you today. And they will continue making cards together with me - I know, because they seem to enjoy these Challenges just as much as I do !!! ;)

Karens Doodles Kids Challenge

Today my daughter Martine and I have been crafting together. I was the lucky winner of 4 adorable Karens Doodles digis when I entered the Karens Doodles Blog Hop. My 7 years ols daughter got to pick her own digi - and she loves princesses and horses (don't they all of the 7 years girls?!? *lol*) so she picked this wonderful Princess Pony digi. Challenge #3 at Karens Doodles Kid's Challenge is embossing. Martine got to use my Cuttlebug machine to cut and emboss, and she really seemed to enjoy it ;) And look at this beautiful card she made:

She has used lots of pink papers and accesories to decorate her card. She's planning to give it to a pink-loving friend for her birthday ;) The Princess Pony digi is painted with her watercolors, and she has cut and embossed it with my Spellbinders dies. Pink embossed paper. She has used a pink "princess-tiara" ribbon. The sentiment she has cut out from a deco-paper from Ursus.  And at last she has made some flowers putting together different paperflowers and added brads in the middle :)

Look at this beauty !! :)

Once again I have to say thank you so much to the Karens Doodles Kid's Team for making these challenges for the kids too. It's so much fun to make these cards together with the kids, and they are enjoying these moments :) And the images is so cute, and so funny to color! So if you have your own kids or nieses, nephews, grandchildren or other creative kids (all of them are creative, we just have to remember to let them be it too!) around you: Let them try out this challenges - you will not regret!! ;)

Hugs from Martine and Randi :)

Barna lager kort :)

We had a really fun time last night, my two oldest kids and I. And today we have finished our projects while their little brother was taking a nap :)
I'm so happy that Karens Doodles har started a own challenge blog own challenge blog for kids. Her images are SO cute, and both kids wanted to use Easter Puppy for their projects. They had so much fun while they were coloring and making their cards - and I was working on my own card for an other challenge :)
The kids were using this weeks sketch for their project, you can find it here.

Some pictures I took during the card making :

Very consentrated...

Time for decorating

Here's Vebjørn's (3 1/2 years) finished project. Silver and gold paper, and some star, flowers and blue blings. He didn't want any ribbons on, he thought it was too "girly"... *lol* And the green paper under the dog's "egg" is a snowboard, he say ;o)

Here's a picture og Martine's (7 years) finished project. It's a little hard to see, but she has used glitterglue to decorate the Puppy's egg.

Both of the finished cards. I think they did a terrific job! ;)

And in the end I wanna say thank you so much to Karens Doodles for starting this Kid's blog, they find it so much fun when they can make their own project together with their paperaddicted mum ;o)
