Angels and Paulo Coelho ;)

What?! Is it Monday already?! And in fact... Monday's almost over here in Norway!! Where does the time go?! It went so fast, I almost missed this week's challenge at Flutter By Wednesday's!! But, I'm posting one of my "qualified" creations. I'm making lots of creations with angels, fairies or butterflies - and since this week is an open challenge, it's easy peasy to enter!!! ;)

I know you people don't believe me when I'm telling about all the snow here. Today I've been working at school, and we've been making snowcastles, snowmen and sleighing. Wish I had some pictures to show you, we had so much fun!
But at least, I can show you some pics of a picture I've made as a Christmas present. It's size is 30x30 cm and I've made it with decoupage with a paper napkin ;)

I'm a big fan of Paulo Coelho, and added a beautiful quote to the picture. I'm no good at translations, but it says something like: " Love is watching the same mountains from different angles "

Just wanted to show you a picture of a candle I've decorated. I'm a little sceptical to decorate candles because of the fear of fire - but I just had to decorate with this fantastic angel rubon and some ribbon ;)

Hi !!

Just a quick post to share a card I've made from this week's challenge at Flutter By Wednesday's.

The challenge is to make a creation with a butterfly, fairy or angel and the colors purple, orange and black. I've made an easel card, and here are some photos:

FBW #124 - Make it glitter and sparkle!!! ;)

Hi there!

Today is kinda sad to me - it's my last duty as a GDT at Flutter By Wednesday's... (sniff, sniff...) I've had such a great time designing for my favorite challenge blog, and I'll sure miss being on your team, ladies!! A special thanks to the fantastic talented and attentive owner, Danni! Thanks for giving me this great oppotunity! I've had such a fantastic month! And thank you all you ladies on the team, you're all great artists and I'm honored to been working with you!!!

I've been having some crazy weeks with LOTS of work and trying to catch up things at home too, so I've been having trouble finding time to leave messages to all the participants in the challenges - I'm really REALLY sorry 'bout that!! :(
Okay... enough of the sad things ;)

I do love butterflies, angels and fairies so I had some trouble using anything else... Ha ha! But then I found a fantastic image from Meljens Design, and I just HAD to color it up - and it's so cute!
I guess that those of you who knows me and my style, will take notice of the clean and simple style - not many details added to this card. But I got so inspired of the CAS cards around lately and wanted to try it myself ;)

FBW #122 - Buttons

Hello there!
And welcome to another week at Danni's Flutter By Wednesdays Challenge! This week's challenge is sponsored by the fantastic Woodware USA, and I've been so lucky to get to work with some of their fantastic stamps! Woodware USA was totally new to me - but I loved their stamps right away!! You should take a look in their webshop!! Along with a fairy, butterfly or angel, this week Danni wants you to use BUTTONS on your creation. And I love using buttons on my projects, so this challenge was great to me ;) But I had some trouble figuring out how to use the fantastic stamps in my project - I had so many ideas when I got the images!! But in the end I decided to make a creation where the images would be the focal point - and I also got to make something else than the usual square cards that I make so often ;)
So I decided to make some tag cards! ;)

FBW #121 - Pink and LOTS of pink!!!

Hi there!
My second week as a GDT at Flutter By Wednesdays are here! Yesterday my youngest son turned two, and we were having a little celebration after we all came home from work, school and kindergarden ;) He's proud to be a "big boy"!!
This week Danni wants to see you create something with bunches of her favorite color - P I N K !!! And off course you have to add a butterfly, fairy or angel :) You may read more about the challenge at the Flutter By Wednesdays Blog. This week the DTgirlies have been so lucky to recieve their own stamps from the kind and generous Susana at Susana's Custom Arts and Cards Design (SCACD). On behalf of the girls I want to send lots of warm thoughts for her generousity!
When I should make a card with LOTS of pink, I thought I could try to make a monochromatic card... That would give a real pinky card!! ;)

A closer look at the beautiful stamp "Angel Eyes - Princess" from Kreativ Hobby. I've altered some wings from my daughter's toys - some wings had fell off her Thinkerbell doll, and couldn't be fixed. And off course I just HAD to put it into my "box of potential embellishment" *lol* I think it worked out good :)

As always, I couldn't wait for the glue to dry before I took the pictures...

The paper in the back are wrappingpapers from my daughter's birthdaygift - I loved it right ahead, and as the "collector" I am, I had to take care of some of it ;) The pink dp's I got in a paperclub. And the round butterfly paper are in fact a cupcakepaper ;) The image is the Topsy Turvy Cake digi from Meljens Designs, colored with my watercolorpencils and added some glitters and Glossy Accents.

The cupcake paper has got some Crackle paint. Letters from Panduro Hobby. Some bling, Stickles from Ranger. Machinesewing.

The inside. I've used more of the wrappingpaper, and the butterflies in the papers has got some stickles around the edges so they show better ;)

I've made a writingpanel with Spellbinders label One. Homemade flowers, made with punches from Panduro Hobby and some eyelets - and off course some glitters!! ;)

I told you this was huge!!

Well, maybe you want to see my first creation as a Guest Designer, making a birthdaycard by using the sketch? Well, here it is :

I made a birthday card to a friend who lives far away - she's the best friend ever! You know, one of those special friends that you seldom see or talk with, but when you REALLY need a friend she's ALWAYS there with the right words... I feel SO lucky to have a friend like her!! ;)

I had to take a picture of the beautiful fairy that I chose when I won 5 rubberstamps from Motivet Rubberstamps - just by leaving a comment on their website!! :)
