FBW #123 - Anything with wings!!!

Welcome to my blog and to this week's challenge at Flutter By Wednesday's !! ;)
For THIS WEEK ONLY Danni has decided that you can enter the challenge with ANYTHING with wings! ;)
I do love butterflies, angels and fairies so I had some trouble using anything else... Ha ha! But then I found a fantastic image from Meljens Design, and I just HAD to color it up - and it's so cute!
I guess that those of you who knows me and my style, will take notice of the clean and simple style - not many details added to this card. But I got so inspired of the CAS cards around lately and wanted to try it myself ;)

Hi there! And thanks for visiting my blog!
Today it's cloudy - again.... But my two little boys are back in kindergarden, and they were so happy to meet their friends again. My daughter has been having a friend on sleepover tonight - and I've been baking breads. And I've also finished a few cards :)
The first one I'll post for you, is made for the following challenges:

I've always colored my images with watercolorpencils. Now I've bought some Distress Ink refills and some Promarkers to try out... And I found out that the refills wasn't that good to use on my digis - the printerink just floated... I guess there is some "tricks" to make it better, but I'm quite new at this... Any ideas?!

Kickin' it for Michelle

Hey there!
Thanks for visiting my blog today!

As many of you have heard, the uber-talented Michelle, one of the DT members of A Spoonful of Sugar, had a terrible accident and lost one of her eyes. That means lots of new challenges for her, and a long time for recovering. I got really sad when I heard about this accident, and my thoughts flew to Michelle. At A Spoonful of Sugar, they've started a "Kickin' it for Michelle" Card Drive. And off course I wanted to make a card for Michelle. She has inspired me many times with her beautiful creations and her funny stories about her life on her farm in Texas.
For my card, I've used the July sketch from the CLP Challenge, and I'm entering their challenge. I'm also entering this week's challenge at Flutterby Wednesday's, where the challenge is to use 3 or more layers and, off course, an angel, butterfly or fairy !! :)

I wanted the card to be a "happy" one with bright and cheerful colors. And I wanted it to be "me" - so I had to add lots of glitters and butterflies along with bright colors. I used glimmermist color Sweet Pea for the doily edge and the background label. And lots of Stickles, off course! ;)

The butterfly on the outside. One layer white vellum and one layer silver carton (The same carton I used for the "Best Wishes" sentiment) And off course - more stickles!! LOL

The inside.

The sentiment from Raindrop Echo Designs. I've added a little Glimmermist Sweet Pea to it and since the printer ink wasn't waterresistant, it floated a little, but in fact I don't think that matters too much...

Pimp my ride

Hi there!

I've got a short post today. I've made a real simple card to my nephew who turned 16 years yesterday. In Norway we can start practising car driving at that age - and that's why I made a card with a car on ;) The card fits into this weeks challenge at Meljens Design - "Sparkle, Glitter, Bling"

The papers are from Notabene. The wonderful image is a freebie from Meljens Design, named "Vroooom". I've colored it with my watercolorpencils and added some glaze to the windows, glitterglue and stickles to give the car a metallic look. And I've pimped the car up with some bling on the rim *lol*. The numbers are chipboard stickers and I've glittered them up a little. 3 buttons. The sentiment is handwritten and says "Let the fun begin!!" I've added glitter to all the edges too :)
