CLP DT-card: Friendship

Hello there!
I'm really sorry I haven't posted my DT card for the CLP Sketch Challenge for February until now...
Things are even more crazy than before, we seem to have gotten "The Big Flu" into the house. Both of the boys are having high fever, headache, musclepain and aching throats. I guess there's only a question of time until our daughter and the parents are sick too, those things spreads like fire into dry grass, as we say in Norwegian.
Okay, that's enough sad things for now, I want to share the card I've made with Chelsea's sketch for February.
This month we're sponsored by Pretty Little Stamps (formal known as Gurlee Girl Stamps), and I got this fantastic image to play with. Unfortunatly my wrists are still hurting, and I had to use an image that I had colored up earlier, so you don't get to see the beautiful image - yet! But I hope I'll soon be able to color up images again... ;)

Wow! That's a lot of words!! Time for some pics!!!! Ha ha!

OMGosh! My first Magnolia card !!

Hi peeps!
You won't believe it, would you? That I haven't got ANY Magnolia stamps before a couple of weeks ago?! Well, in fact, that's true! Too sad, in fact. I can tell at this moment, when I've got my first Tilda and colored her up. I loooooved her from the first brush stroke!! Thank you SO much Jacque!! It's her generousity that brought Tilda onto my crafting desk, since I won one of her amazing candies!! Thanks again, you're the best !!! *hugging*
I colored her up the same day I got her in my mail box - but I have been so busy with all those confirmation cards, that I haven't got the chance to finish the card. But now I have ! :)
I became a friendshipcard, I thought the image fits perfect to a friend :)
I'm now able to enter Magnolia Down Under Challenge for the very first time, using their fab sketch :)
I'm also entering the following challenges:

* Simon Says Stamp Challenge - Anything goes
* Simon Says Stamp and Show - Buttons
* Lollipop Crafts - Shabby Chic or Vintage
* Scrappekammeret - Anything goes

Here's my finished project:

My finished card :)

Gorgeous Tilda ! I know her outfit doesn't match the papers, but I thought it didn't matter, I only think that Tilda comes more "through" in the card - and she's so sweet that she deserves to be the focal point !!! ;)

You'll find joy in those small moments of everydays :) I thought the text was perfect for this image, since Tilda is having such a great time jumping in autumn leaves :)

Look, the card brings a gift! A dragonfly brooch which can be taken off...

...and the card will still look good after the gift is taken off ;) You can see the button I've sewed onto the felt flower too...

Dear friend...

Think GREEN!!

Hi, and thanks for visiting my blog! :)

The weather has been so bad this summer and especially the last weeks, we've had some wonderful summerdays, but mostly it has been raining and low temperatures. It's perfect weather for scrapping, but I haven't been in mood for crafting. But today we've had a fantastic summerday, and I've been sitting outside and done some crafting!! My husband is gone fishing and I've been finishing some projects while my kids are sleeping :)
The first card I've been finishing, is made with the gorgeous freebie I got from Paula over at Pollycraft by entering a freebie challenge. (And now I'm able to choose another of her beautiful digis - how cool is that?!?! *sss*) The theme for this challenge is to think GREEN. I've been coloring in green, used green color in my papers and I've even thought green by using "The Green Stack" papers from DCWV. Those papers are 70% recycled!! And I've made my own flowers by altering small green paperpieces :)
And for this card, I've been using this week's sketch from Friday Sketchers Blog.

Papers: The Green Stack from DCWV, cardstock from Ursus
Image: Tortoise Hugs from Pollycraft
Coloring: Watercolor pencils
Ink: Tim Holtz' Distress Ink Broken China from Ranger
Sentiment stamp: "I love you" from Kreativ Hobby
Others: Paperedges are sewed on my sewingmachine, flower ribbon from Nille, homemade flowers, Spellbinders dies Labels One and Deckled Rectangles

My homemade flowers - perfect if you've got lots of tiny paperpieces that you don't want to throw (I sure do have LOTS of those.... *lol*)

I love you ;)

GO GREEN!!!! ;)

I'm so glad you visited my blog today - and I'll be really happy if you leave a message for me too!! *SSS*

Another Summercard

Hi there!
Today I've been lying in my bed until my girlie came home from school. I've been having a terrible migraine. When I woke up, I realized that the weather seemed to be wonderful this afternoon - and it did! I've been walking around with my sunglasses all day and still I'm a little dizzy. But I have been making a delicious barbeque dinner for my family, and I've been planting sugarsnaps with my boys.
And now I want to share some pictures with you. It's a Summer theme card that I've made for some familymembers. It goes to the following challenges:

* Colour Create Challenge - Baby Pink & Pastel Blue
* Belles'n'Whistles - Ribbons & Punches
* Friday Sketchers - Sketch #105
* Nord-Salten Hobbyklubb - Flower Power

I've made a card with the fantastic Elisabeth Bell digi named "Little Rapunzel". She's so beautiful! I've been coloring her with my watercolorpencils and adding a touch of glitterpen colors to her clothes. The papers are from Nille, Ursus and Notabene. The pearls, leaves and the flowers are from Kort og Godt Hobby. The sentiment says "Happy Summer" and is handwritten. Dragonfly puncher, white laces. I've been sewing all the papers on my sewing machine.

A closeup picture of Little Rapunzel :)

The lace and one of the punched dragonfly

The beautiful roses

A picture of the inside. I've made a panel for writing a personal message at the right side. At the left side I've added some butterflies and a border sticker from Nille - and painting "flying line" with pink glitterpen

A closer look at one of the butterflies

That's all, folks! ;)
Wish you all a wonderful evening, thank you so much for visiting my blog, I do appreciate all of your kind words!! Hugs, Randi

Strawberries and cream - and a touch of chocolate ;o)

Hi all you sweet bloggers ;)
I've been making some summercards lately, I want to send some words to friends all around the country. And I think it's so much nicer to get a home made card than an email or a sms.
This card fits into the following challenges:

* Allsorts Challenge - Strawberries and Cream (and I've added a touch of chocolate too! *lol*)
* Whimsical Wednesday - Inspiration Photo (I got inspired of the colors, which you can find in my DP. And strawberries are SUMMER to me *S*)
* Nord-Salten Hobbyklubb - Flower Power
* Cupcake Challenge - Dazzle Us
* Oh, Alice - Your Muchness (Mine are bright colors, glitters and homemade stuff, like my strawberry *lol*)

I've used a Strawberry Shortcake scrap picture as image on the card. It was all glittered up when I bought it. I think she's really adorable :) The strawberry is handcut and glittered a little up. The DP is named "Blossom Friendship" from JB Creative Team. I've made some paperflowers, adding brads in the middle. In the back I've added a "chocolate and cream" squared ribbon ;) In the left corner I've handwritten "Happy Summer" on a piece of brown carton.

A closer look at the Strawberry Shortcake image

Here's the paper flowers with the blingbrads

The inside. I've used the same papers as in the front. I've made a large space for a personal summer greeting. I've used the same ribbon too, making a bow and adding one of the brads to it. Oh, I love those flowered papers! The bright colors make me so happy!! *lol*

I hope you liked my card, I'm so happy you visited my blog! And thank you so much for leaving me a message ;)
Hugs, Randi
