Vintage card - and a present for me!! ;o)

Hi there!

At first I have to post a picture of some stuff I got from my super kind mum yesterday! My parents and some friends of  them took a trip with the Kiel ferry. When they came there, my mom discovered a shop with lots of card embellishments - and since she's the kindest mum in the World, she ran into the store and grabbed some stuff to me ;) Here's a picture of what she found:

There's more than 20 meters of different ribbons, doilies, stickers and some cute metal embellishments. She also got me some cellophan papers for my homemade caramels and cookies because it's so hard to find it in shops here. I think it's so generous of my mum to use her money and time to buy my a present when she's travelling - just like I was a little child *lol*

I've also got a card to share with you today. I made it to one of my mum's friend. She's always giving me stuff for my cards - buttons, laces, ribbons and more. I would give her a card as a sign on my gratitude.
I'm entering the following challenges with this card:
* CLP Challenge - Sketch # 32
* Basic Grey Challenges - Flower Power
* Vintage Udforfordring - Vintageproject in colors
* Anonyme Scrappere - Vintage with flowers and laces

Here's what I came up with ;)

* Lucky *

No card from me today, I'm soon going to work but first I had to share some news ;) Yesterday it was "Soldag" in Tromsø - we're celebrating that we're able to see the sun again - the long dark days are ended and that's a good reason to celebrate, don't you think?! ;)
Well, I was supposed to use my day off to go to the dentist (and I did) and to go to the wedding store with my niece. But unfortunately the woman in the store had to cancel :(
But I gave my niece the wedding invitations, and in the evening I got a message from her and her fiancé that they were SO pleased about them!! Hurray!! I was so relieved :)
And I got one more BIG happening to share: My husband's brother and his wife got a cute little girl on the sun day !! Ain't that fab?!
Yes, I sure have many things to smile for today - and therefor I've got a huge grin on my face!!! ;)

I thought I should share these happy news with you all, and thanks to ALL of you that leaves me comments, you make my day you too!!! ;)
Wishing you all a fab weekend!

Some colors - and a small amount of glitter...

Hi peeps!
Hurray, I'm almost done with all the 65 wedding invitations! Tomorrow I'm going to Tromsø to the wedding store to look for the Perfect Dress for my niece. I'm really looking forward to that! This year my husband and I have been married for 10 years, this wedding coming up makes the good memories come back ;)

Usually I'm not working on Thursdays, it's the day for the boys and I to do things together at home. But today I'm working some hours to help them out a little. But only a few hours in the evening :) So I've got some time in between everything that has to be done. And I chose to share some pics with you, I've been "celebrating" that I'm almost done with the Wedding Invitations - by making a few colorful creations... (the invitations are all white and boring) *lol*

Both of the creations are made with dp's from the Green Stack from DCWV - I just loooove those papers ;) So colorful, and filled with cheerful images ;)

First, I've made a school notebook for my 8 year old daughter, I couldn't add to much stash onto it, because it would fell off when she's carrying it around every day in her school bag... :) But she loved the book - and that's what counts!!
I'm entering this book into this week's challenge at Flutter By Wednesday's, which is an open challenge. The only thing to do is to add a butterfly, fairy og angel into your project ;)

The finished book - machinesewed edges, green bling, glitters, chipboardletters and a butterfly

The beautiful butterfly - I've colored it with Distress Ink Vintage Photo and added some glitterglue

The backside with a wise chipboard owl ;)

My second creation is a CAS card - only made by DCWV papers, cardstock, some chipboardletters, buttons and a black pen ;)
I'm entering the following challenges with this card:
* Challenge up your life - Clean and Simple
* Allsorts Challenge - Teal blue and brown

Buttons, chipboardletters a pen and only one kind of dp's can make the cutest cards ;)
Easy, huh?!?! ;)

Button flowers :)

An owl

A beaver - and some closeup of the "pen-stitched" papers

Yes, that's pretty much what I had to offer today... *lol*
Wishing you a happy day - and all the best for the weekend ;)
Thanks for visiting

My first Lili of the Valley card

Hi there,
yes - I'm quite busy these days, working a lot and using my leftover time to finish 65 wedding invitations for my niece and her fiancé. There's a lot of work to be done, and there been some unexpected problems coming up. But I guess I'll be able to finish the invitations in a week or two, in between work, housekeeping, cooking and qualitytime with my family.
I love making the invitations, but I've been missing making colorful cards with lots of embellishments. And since a friend of mine turned 30 some days ago, I thought I should take a break from the invitatons and make her a birthdaycard.
In December I won a candy from Maya with a fantastic stamp from Lili of the Valley. I love it!! And I loved to color it up, I was looking forward to play with this fabulous stamp!!! It's named "Christmas candle", but I thought it worked great on a birthday card too ;) I've been playing with Jacque's fab sketch, making this card. I liked the sketch a lot and I'm sure I'll use it more times :)
I'm entering this card into the following challenges:

* Friday Sketchers Blog- Sketch #136
* RRR Challenge - Something new (my new stamp!!) plus ribbon
* Flutter By Wednesday's - Open, add a butterfly, fairy og angel
* Sir Stampalot Challenge - A Winters tale
* Kort og Godt - White and blue
* Nord-Salten Hobbyklubb - Winter card

Godt nytt år!

Heisann!

Klar for julefeiring

He he...

Klemmer,
