Prairie Fairy

Prairie Fairy is having a DT call which closes Friday April 16th at midnight! Check it out here! They're offering a supercute Fairy digi freebie that you have to use in a card to get the chance to win a 4 months DT membership for Prairie Fairy. And since I love this fairy, and think their stamps are so beautiful, I had to give it a try! I made a criss cross pocket card. I've tried it once before but messed it up. And when I found this superb tutorial, I had to try it once more! Here's what I came up with:

Since purple is my favorite color (and I seem to be into a "purple period"...) I made a red and purple card. I've used two different purple cardstocks, and two different silver glittered designpapers for my card. I've colored that gorgeous fairy with my watercolor pencils and mounted her with 3D tape. Her wings are glittered with my glitterpen. I've used purple glittered ribbons and the purple butterfly is one of my favorites, bought at Nille.

Here's a picture of the card inside the pocket. I've printed a smaller fairy than on the pocket, but I colored her in the same colors. I've made her a swing of paper and silver ribbons, and mounted her with 3D tape. The sentiment, which says something like "Color up the days and you will find the rainbow" and is bought at Kreativ Hobby. I've used the same papers as on the pocket.
